Covid-19 Implementations

Covid-19

At Star Mountain Family Dental we know that this is a very difficult and scary time that we are living in. Despite everything that you have heard on the news it is still very important to keep your dental visits. The longer a dental condition is left untreated, the worse it might get over time and require more involved treatment. The important thing is to ask questions and know that your dental office is taking all of the precautions to keep everyone safe.

At Star Mountain Family Dental, you can rest assured that Dr. Luera is going above and beyond any state mandates to keep her staff and patients safe. When you come to our office, you will notice the changes that Dr. Luera has implemented to make her office as safe as possible. To list a few of what Dr. Luera is implementing in the office and what new changes you can expect to see are the following.

  • Patient AND staff screenings: everyone who enters the office will have their temperature and pulse ox. recorded, along with a questionnaire.
  • Air Doctor air purifiers: combines UltraHEPA filter and Carbon/Gas Trap/VOC filter to effectively filter dangerous ultrafine partials as small as .003 microns.
  • Pre-procedural mouth rinse to reduce oral microbes.
  •  Increased PPE for all staff and equipment.
  •  Sneeze guard at the front office windows.
  •  During your procedure you will either have a device called Isolite, or PureVac HVE used to reduce the amount of aerosols present in the office. Each can reduce the amounts up to 90%.
  •  Access to patient forms to decrease the contact that you have in the office: visit our Patient forms section to fill out forms prior to your visit.
